Assistant Buyer (32–40 hours) – Maurik
At Via Chassé, we value a practical, hands-on approach. A smooth purchasing process depends on clear oversight and good coordination. As an Assistant Buyer, you make sure everything runs smoothly, customers and suppliers are satisfied, and orders are processed correctly and on time.
Imagine this: you start your day by checking incoming orders, coordinate with a supplier about a sample, and communicate with a colleague about a customer request. In between, you work in our ERP system and keep a clear overview. You set priorities, keep processes running smoothly, and make sure nothing is left unfinished. That’s you—and this is what gives you energy!
What you’ll do
In this role, you are the right hand of the Key Account Manager and help ensure that processes run efficiently.
- You maintain contact with customers and suppliers and ensure agreements are clear
- You process purchase orders with the correct product details and monitor progress
- You safeguard product quality by requesting and checking samples
- You confirm sales orders and communicate product information to customers
- You accurately record all process steps in our ERP system
- You have an interest in our product groups household, home textiles, sports and/or stationery, and actively contribute ideas to product development

- You have a sharp eye for detail and quickly spot when something isn’t right or needs attention
- You maintain overview and know how to set priorities so everything is handled correctly and on time
- You communicate clearly and tactfully with colleagues, customers and suppliers
- You are proactive and solution-oriented, and confident making independent decisions within your role
- You are eager to learn, work in a structured way and enjoy continuously improving processes
