Internship Supply Chain & Logistics (Associate Degree / Bachelor / Master) – Maurik
At Via Chassé, we believe in a hands-on approach. Behind the products you see at well-known retailers across Europe lies a complex chain of suppliers, transport flows and logistical decisions. During this internship, you will have the opportunity to explore this chain up close, and help improve it.
Imagine diving into import flows from Asia, analysing where delays occur or costs increase, and contributing to practical solutions. Or researching how we can organise transport within Europe in a smarter and more sustainable way. You might also take a deep dive into a new process, such as implementing a shuttle racking system in our warehouse, ensuring everything runs smoothly from day one. This is not a passive internship, you will actively contribute, ask questions and implement improvements. This is what drives you.
What you will do
During this internship, you will work on one or more practical assignments within supply chain and/or logistics, tailored to your level of education and background.
- Map and visualise existing supply chain or logistics processes
- Analyse import flows from Asia and identify opportunities to improve planning, lead times or costs
- Contribute to European logistics challenges, such as transport planning and sustainability
- Identify and document improvement opportunities within specific processes
- Work on one or more practical cases, for example:
- How can we better forecast and plan inbound container flows?
- Where can we bundle transport movements to reduce costs and CO₂ emissions?
- How can we make logistics information more transparent for internal teams?
- Collaborate with colleagues from Supply Chain, Logistics and Purchasing
- Translate your findings into practical improvement proposals
What you bring
- You are enrolled in an Associate Degree, Bachelor’s or Master’s programme, for example in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field
- You are analytical, curious and enjoy understanding how processes work
- You work in a structured way and can clearly communicate your insights
- You are not afraid to ask questions and like to think about smarter ways of working
- You are proficient in written and spoken English
- You are able to work independently, while also actively seeking collaboration

How we work
You will join a close-knit family business with a down-to-earth and open culture — a place where your ideas are valued. You will work from our modern office and distribution centre in Maurik, within the department related to your assignment, supported by a dedicated internship supervisor. In total, we work with around 45 colleagues: practical, driven and with a good sense of humour.
We value clear communication, short lines and a hands-on mindset. You will be given the space to learn, ask questions and focus on self-development.
