Logistics Planner (36–40 uur) – Maurik

Whilst you strive for flawless planning, you’re at your best when you need to adapt quickly. Thanks to your overview and organisational skills, you resolve bottlenecks before they become a problem. This way, you stay in control of the outbound flow of goods, no matter what happens. As the central hub in the chain, you coordinate everything with customers, carriers and the warehouse team. Your talent for planning and organisation ensures that the flow of goods always runs smoothly.

Imagine this: you start the day by planning deliveries and coordinating ongoing shipments with carriers. You check that all orders are correctly entered into the system and confirm delivery times to our customers. Thanks to you, the warehouse knows exactly what needs to be ready and when. You maintain the overview, keep a tight grip on the schedule and intervene immediately where necessary. This dynamic is typical of you and really energises you!

 

What does your role look like?

• You will schedule deliveries and liaise with hauliers
• You will process orders with precision and draw up a tight schedule. In doing so, you will maintain a clear overview of warehouse capacity and hauliers’ preferences. Your planning will ensure calm and clarity on the shop floor
• You maintain contact with customers, provide updates on deliveries and prevent any surprises
• You support warehouse staff and step in where necessary
• You understand how our processes work and identify areas for improvement. You translate these analyses directly into concrete proposals for improvement

 

What will you do?

• Communicate with customers regarding orders and requested deliveries.
• Enter and process received orders.
• Analyze outgoing goods and take appropriate actions to prevent lost sales.
• Handle logistics planning and coordination.
• Receive and direct drivers.
• Lead and support warehouse employees.
• Manage inventory

• You work in a structured manner, keep a firm grip on the schedule and actively contribute ideas for process improvements
• You are well-known in the region and live within a 30-kilometre radius of Maurik. We value short lines of communication, including in terms of your commute. 
• You speak the language of both the shop floor and the customer. You communicate directly and professionally. In this way, you ensure that cooperation with hauliers and colleagues always runs smoothly
• You coordinate matters clearly with colleagues, customers and hauliers to ensure a smooth process
• You are meticulous in your work and do not hesitate to get things done. Setting priorities comes naturally to you; you know exactly what needs to be done at any given moment
